Liverpool sit top of the table heading into the hectic holiday period, and the club's fans are buzzing after what has been perhaps their most impressive start to a Premier League campaign.

But others have noticed a change in mentality in Rafael Benitez's men, as they have demonstrated an uncanny ability for picking up points when under the pump.

Torres is expected to return to action sometime next month, after embarking on an in-depth diagnosis and treatment of his problem hamstring.
