Liverpool have handed new signing Milan Jovanovic the iconic number 10 shirt for his first season at Anfield.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Reds from Standard Liege this summer on a free transfer, will wear the same number as Anfield legends such as John Barnes, Terry McDermott and John Toshack.
The last man to wear the number at Anfield was Andriy Voronin, and Jovanovic, who scored Serbia's winner in their 1-0 win over Germany at the World Cup this summer, will be hoping that his spell on Merseyside works out better than that endured by the Ukrainian.
