Mobido Diakite will seemingly not renew his contract with Lazio as he is waiting for an offer from Premier League side Liverpool.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has spoken to the Reds already this month over a move.
According to Calciomercato.com, Diakite has decided not to sign a contract extension and instead wants to wait for an offer from Liverpool.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has proposed an increase in the player’s wages from €750,000 a year to €790,000 a year plus bonuses, but the defender is still not interested.
