TalkSport is reporting that Roma stopper Doni wants to move to Liverpool, and has already 'reached an agreement' for the deal to take place.
While there were doubts surrounding a move for Doni to Liverpool over the last couple of weeks, with discrepancies over wage amounts, an agreement has reportedly been reached and the keeper will be with Liverpool by the end of the summer.
Doni has starred for Roma since moving to the Italian outfit in 2005, and has been hot property during the transfer period. Liverpool have long had the 31-year-old on their radar, and while Pepe Reina has insisted his future is with the Reds, the arrival of Doni could spark questions over the current keeper’s stake on the side.
Pundits believe though that Doni could serve as a good back up for Reina, should the Liverpool keeper continue to star for the Merseyside club.
Roma have reportedly demanded £1.5 million for Doni, which Liverpool have agreed to meet.
