Jonjo Shelvey has revealed his dream of one day establishing himself as Liverpool's primary set-piece taker.
The 19-year-old netted with a rasping free-kick in a reserve match with Manchester United in early May, while he is also a regular on dead-ball duties for England U19s.
Now he's got his sights set on ousting the likes of Gerrard, Suarez, Meireles and co at a set-piece situation, but acknowledges he may have to bide his time.
"I've always liked to take free-kicks but when you come into the first team at a club like Liverpool there's going to be people who are better than you at them and so you have to wait your turn," Shelvey told LFC Weekly.
"I always want to take them. I'm on the set pieces for England and hopefully one day I can take them here at Liverpool as well."
