Officials from Juventus will travel to Liverpool on Monday to meet with Anfield representatives in order to discuss the future of Rafa Benitez, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Liverpool boss Benitez has remained tight lipped over speculation linking him with Juventus. However, among the Juventus delegation will be their legal advisor Michele Briamonte, who deals with the club's contractual issues.
The Turin club will hope to thrash out a gentleman's agreement with Liverpool to let Benitez leave in the summer for minimal compensation.
According to the Italian media, Juventus will hope that the prospect of removing Benitez's large salary from the wage bill will be incentive enough to work out a deal for the Spaniard.
Corriere dello Sport predicts that Monday's meeting will be the first of a long series of talks between Liverpool and Juventus to resolve Benitez's future.
