Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez wants the football authorities to introduce video technology to help referees with marginal decisions.
The Spaniard's comments come after the furore surrounding the two-match ban handed to Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva for diving in the Champions League play-off against Celtic.
Benitez thinks that the crackdown on 'simulation' is positive, but he is more concerned that UEFA aren't cracking down on bad tackles, and feels that video technology and bans must be used to prevent over-aggressive tackling as well as diving.
"Diving is something that if you can, you have to stop," Benitez told The Liverpool Echo. "We have to stop this and to use the video is good, but I’m really concerned about this decision.
"Someone diving gets a two-game ban but very bad tackles only get a three-game ban. You have to have the right balance.
"I've always been in favour of using the video more often. But as well as diving we must use the video more to stop the bad tackles."
