Sielva Lining For Liverpool

Liverpool are understood to have first option on signing Espanyol’s 17-year-old attacking midfielder Oscar Sielva, according to Sky Sports.

The Anfield side’s agreement appears to stem from business done last summer when Albert Riera swapped his Barcelona surroundings for Merseyside.

Rafael Benitez is known to be keen on expanding Liverpool’s academy system as he looks to create a sustainable programme of development for young talent.

Sielva, who played against Manchester United in a pre-season friendly, is valued at around £2million.
