Tottenham and Liverpool are hoping to sign Barcelona prospect Gerard Deulofeu on a season long loan, according to reports.
Deulofeu is considered as one of the brightest prospects emerging from the Barca youth system and due to the recent acquisition of Brazilian sensation, Neymar, he could leave on loan to gain much needed first team experience.
The Daily Mail believes that both clubs are interested in brining him to the Premier League after scouts of Andre Villas-Boas and Brendan Rodgers gave the youngster rave reviews.
However, reports from around various other websites have linked the forward to Manchester City, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Valenica, so the race for his temporary signature could really heat up over the next few weeks.
