Newcastle fans will no doubt be upset if the playmaker is allowed to leave and the already unpopular Kinnear will be doing his relationship with the Toon army no favours.

Ben Arfa is believed to be on less than £40,000 a week and due to his calibre he wants to be on a level playing field with the other top earners at United.
