Liverpool forward Nathan Eccleston could soon be presented with the option of playing his club football in Holland after it emerged that PSV Eindhoven were interested in the youngster.
According to Sky Sports, the 21-year-old has emerged as a genuine target for the Dutch giants, despite making just two Premier League appearances for Liverpool.
Eccleston was signed by Liverpool in 2006 from Bury and has developed in the youth set-up, regularly featuring for both the reserves and in the FA Youth Cup side.
The young forward has been loaned on three occasions to Huddersfield, Charlton and most recent Rochdale where he went on a one-month loan and scored one goal in five appearances.
Despite failing to make an impression in the first team squad under manager Kenny Dalglish, it is believed that the Dutch side may make an offer in the summer.
Eccleston is contracted until the summer of 2013, but the chance to play in Holland's top flight may be enough to persuade him to make the move to the side that is currently fifth in the Eredivisie table.
