Liverpool has agreed a deal to sign Sevilla star Luis Alberto for a fee of £6.8m, according to reports in Spain.
Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move for the 20-year-old for a number of days and the two clubs have now reached an agreement over the fee.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Liverpool will pay £6.8m (€8m) up front, with up to £1.7m (€2m) in variables.
It is thought that Alberto is keen on the move, and he is set to become their second signing of the summer after Kolo Toure, although moves for Iago Aspas and Simon Mignolet are rumoured to be close to completion.
