Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has played down talk that he is prepared to sell Milan Jovanovic in next month's transfer window.
Reports over the weekend claimed Jovanovic had been placed on the transfer list as Liverpool look to offload the Serbian just six months after his arrival on Merseyside.
Jovanovic has failed to impress since joining on a free transfer from Standard Liege and has found himself playing a bit-part role at Anfield.
A number of clubs in Germany and Turkey are thought to be monitoring Jovanovic's situation, but Hodgson insists the versatile forward will only leave if they receive a suitable offer.
"Jovanovic, as far as I am concerned, is a Liverpool player and will be until such time as he decides to leave or someone comes in and makes us an offer we can't refuse," noted Hodgson.
