Roma are in no mood to unclench their fists with Mirko Vucinic as they reject Liverpool advances.
The 27-year-old Montenegrin striker has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield. Il Corriere dello Sport claimed on Friday that Roma were considering a sale as budgetary constraints was forcing the club to offload.
However, Sky Sport Italia are now reporting opposition to a sale by the Roma directorate. Chiefs at Trigoria have rejected proposals from Anfield, telling the Premier League side that Vucinic is not for sale.
Vucinic is considered a stable part of plans by coach Claudio Ranieri and he is part of the squad for Sunday's trip to Cesena.
